Sonic Online is a free fan project played together by everyone. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these rules.
1. Your account
- One account per person. Keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Your username must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, or impersonate another player, a moderator or a real person.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (or the minimum age required in your country).
2. Respect the other players
- No insults, harassment, threats, hate speech or discrimination in the chat or in usernames.
- No spam, advertising, scams, or sharing personal information (yours or someone else's).
- In co-op, play with your team. Leaving or sabotaging on purpose to ruin other players' game is not allowed.
3. Fair play
- No cheating: no modified game files, memory editors, bots, speed hacks, or tools that give an unfair advantage (rings, experience, records, PvP hits...).
- No exploiting bugs to gain rings, experience or records. If you find one, please report it.
- Do not attack, overload or try to break into the servers.
4. Rewards and the shop
Rings, experience, emeralds and characters are virtual items with no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for real money. Results that the server considers impossible are rejected.
5. Sanctions
Breaking these rules may lead, depending on its seriousness, to a warning, the reset of rewards obtained unfairly, a temporary suspension, or the permanent deletion of the account.
6. The service
Sonic Online is provided free of charge, as is, without any guarantee of availability. It may be changed, interrupted or closed at any time. Sonic Online is not affiliated with SEGA.
